In the fourth quarter of 2022, the top theme park apps on iOS in Africa displayed varied performance trends. Here’s a detailed look at the weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for the leading five apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Disneyland® Paris showed a gradual increase in weekly downloads, starting at 207 in late September and peaking at 426 in the last week of December. Active users followed a similar trend, rising from 394 to 701 over the quarter.

My Disney Experience experienced a noticeable growth in weekly revenue, reaching $621 by mid-December. Downloads also saw a steady climb, culminating at 134 in the final week of the year. Active users increased from 182 to 272 over the same period.

Global Village Dubai had a significant rise in weekly downloads, peaking at 182 in the last week of December. However, no data on active users was reported for this app during the quarter.

Disneyland® witnessed a steady rise in revenue, particularly in December, where it reached $31. Downloads also grew considerably, starting at 34 in late September and reaching 146 by the end of December. Active users increased from 140 to 228 over the quarter.

Universal Orlando Resort saw a notable increase in downloads, peaking at 108 in mid-December. Active users also rose from 29 to 126 over the quarter.
